![]() Morning, It has come to my attention that, during conversion, some folks took Core prestige classes on their PCs without said PCs fulfilling all of the requirements for that prestige class. Such prestige classes include contemplative and church inquisitor. Page 24 of the LGCS makes it clear that a PC must meet the requirements for a Core prestige class before taking it. This includes any special requirements. I consulted our Circle rep, Steven Conforti, and he confirmed that this is the case. That means that said PC must have the requirement documented either through an AR or through regional documentation. Otherwise, you cannot take the prestige class. As this is possibly the result of miscommunication, here, then, is what you are going to do: 1) All players should review their PCs to see if they have the documentation for meeting the requirements for any prestige classes held by said PCs ASAP. 2) If you have a PC which has prestige classes to which the PC does not have documentation showing that they meet all of the requirements for that Prestige Class, you will need to contact one of the Triad ASAP so that we can work with you to remedy the situation and to bring your PC into compliance. You will have thirty days from today to fix the problem. By June 12, 2005, all PCs operating in Gran March should be in compliance with regard to this issue. 3) Judges should be on the lookout for PCs who have taken these prestige classes and should verify that the PC is in compliance with regard to any special requirements. If you find a PC that is not in compliance on or before June 12, inform the player of that PC that they need to contact their Triad in order to get that PC into compliance. If you find a PC that is not in compliance after June 12, inform the player and the Event Coordinator so that proper RPGA administrative remedies can be put into action. Sincerely, Will Dover |
